The main objects for this project are:

1. Firstly to improve the line of communication between schools and the pupils and parents. We can do that by providing our support voluntary workers to undertake the role of translators and provide advocacy for parents. They also ensure that parents are aware of what their children are learning at schools and their legal responsibilities.
2. Another aim is to increase the self-confidence of children through helping with school work and offering extra curriculum based lessons using Somali/ none Somali graduates as mentors.
3. Also to work with teachers to better understand the cultural sensitivities for Somali families. Doing so through training workshops for both teachers and parents.
4. Finally, we aim to assist local schools to improve the educational standard of Ethnic pupils[Mainly Somalis] in Ealing Borough areas. This will be done by providing social activities during school holidays including trips, play games and sport development. .
