Our Objectives

 
  • To advance the care and the education of children at young age and promote the education of vulnerable, underprivileged youth (Mainly from Ethnic Minority) through the provision of, and access to supplementary teaching/training facilities, including home-work clubs, sports and cultural Activities to improve social skills, raise awareness, motivation and manners.
  • To promote the training and employment of school leavers, semi or unskilled youth aged between 16-20 years towards enhancing their employment-ability and career progression; and to campaign against poverty, anti social behaviour, drug or alcohol abuse and crime.
  • To promote the physical and mental of the community through facilitating adequate access to appropriate service provides.
  • To advocate the provision of adult education programme with the view to eradicating illiteracy among members of the ethnic community, particularly women and to improve individual learning capacity to acquire basic or usefull skills and thereby enhance their chance of finding work.
  • To facilitate the care for the single mothers and their children through advocacy, the provision of training in household, family values and self-sufficiency by removing barriers including language [English], enhancing social skills, promoting day centres, nurseries and pre-school facilities with view to removing exclusion and isolating barriers and enabling them (Both child and mother) to interact and socialise with others in order to improve the quality of life.
  • To facilitate the provision of and access to accurate information, including proper guidance, advisory, counselling, translation or interpretation services to the community with regards to education, training, health and care, housing, social inclusion, neighbourhood and the environment.
  • To advocate the resolution of conflict through peaceful means, support humanitarian efforts, particularly in neighbourhoods and populated areas where there is possibility of conflict due to lack of understanding.
  • To promote the cause of diversity and inter-cultural understanding in mainstream British society, to co-operate with other community centres having similar objects and to advocate the appreciation of the social structure, the legal and political system of the land
